Tea & Tunes: Creating a soothing writing environment
Help me give my students a classroom speaker and water boiler. I hope these items can help create a calm and soothing atmosphere for writing and reflecting (and also supports SEL)

My Project
I often play reflection music during times of writing. However, my projector's built in speaker leaves a lot to be desired. I'd like to use these speakers to play music to create a more soothing and reflective writing environment. Listening to music can enhance writing in multiple ways. It helps develop one's sense of rhythm, flow, and pacing, which can translate into one's writing style.
The water boiler will be used to offer tea to students.
Drinking tea has been linked to lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol. In addition, tea has been shown to reduce anxiety symptoms in many studies
