My Project

I teach special education in a self-contained classroom in a free breakfast and free lunch school. My students are growing boys and girls that are always hungry!! We eat lunch at 11:30 and by 2:15 they are starving a treat to hold them over.

Help me put some delicious snacks into their tummies, and put smiles on their faces.

My children love chips and crackers, meat sticks and cookies, oh my. Often, I will send some snacks home for them for the weekend as well (many don't have the opportunity to have these treats at home). They are not able to purchase these treats for themselves. I will also use these snacks as rewards for our behavioral system in our classroom. I teach a wonderful group of children and we would definitely appreciate your help.

We are in low income community where these children do not have the opportunity to be given these types of rewards at home. Not only will the children be excited to receive these treats but they can also be used to entice them to work harder for their goal in becoming better students.
