The task boxes will be used for literacy, math, and science/ social studies! To vamp up stations every day, one of the stations would be these task boxes where the kindergartners would get extra practice with reading, writing, counting, and determining similarities and differences!
We don’t get enough time in our day as a teacher to continue to teach certain skills that some students might not catch on right away and need extra help!
Students have been practicing, but it is that time of the year where they are in a routine and some might seem “bored”. With some research, I found task boxes! These task boxes will have individual activities based on what one they grab! There are 2 levels for literacy, 2 for math, and 2 for science/social studies, hence the 6 boxes! They are able to move onto the next level based on where their needs are needed!! These task boxes will do just that!
