Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school offers archery to students in grades 3rd through 5th. The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP®) is an in-school program aimed at improving educational performance among students in grades 4th – 12th. Archery is a great motivation for students!

Students have the opportunity to learn how to focus, have self-control, discipline, patience, and experience life lessons to be successful in the classroom and in life.

Archery is a sport that does not discriminate against any student. Students have the opportunity to compete locally and also at state and national levels. I plan to use the materials and supplies on this project to give my students the best opportunity with the NASP Archery in School Program. These items are needed to give students exposure to resources that will allow them to be successful during practices. This helps them to be prepared and ready for tournaments.
