My Project

Next school year will bring the excitement of a new reading curriculum. My second grade students will be introduced to a variety of multicultural topics, world history investigations, and themes that they are very unfamiliar with.

I want to supplement my classroom library with children's books that cover these unfamiliar topics.

Given that we are a small, rural elementary school, it's very important for my students to become immersed in the cultures that we will be studying. Having quality books at their fingertips will certainly bring their learning to life.
