My Students

My students all have communication delays and disorders that make learning and communicating an everyday challenge. To teach them the language skills they need and allow them to communicate in their classrooms they often need individualized materials.

My students are happy kids eager to share their learning and ideas with the world.

They range in age from 3 to 12, each with their own learning challenges but all struggle with some form of speech and language delays or disorders. My younger students are desperate to acquire vocabulary and expressive language skills to share the adventures of their days, while my older students are hungry to understand and find academic success in their classrooms.

My Project

Creating materials that motivate my students and encourage continuous learning is a neverending task. I take deep pride in the individualized interactive books, communication boards and curriculum based materials I make and adapt for all my students' needs. However, the cost of printer ink, laminating sheets, Velcro dots, etc. adds up.

I believe that money should not be the stumbling block for any student's learning.
