Help me give my students a comfortable learning environment by providing comfortable bean bag chair seating, a lava lamp and snacks to fuel their brains. The Zoo animal toys will provide talking buddies to help with math vocabulary.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students constantly come into my classroom hungry, which makes learning mathematics difficult. Snacks will provide them the necessary brain food they need to motivate them to learn.
Students need a variety of spaces and seating to feel comfortable in a high school classroom.
Bean bag chairs will give the option for a different space and allow students to choose a seat that helps them feel comfortable.
Talking buddies is a proven strategy for getting students to talk about what they are learning. The zoo animals will be perfect buddies.
