This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a vibrant, diverse group of learners who come from low-income families. While they may not have the chance to travel far, their imaginations know no limits. They’re creative, curious, and always ready for a good story. Many of them are bilingual and bring unique perspectives to our classroom, making every discussion rich and exciting.
A class set of "How to Train Your Dragon" will give them the chance to escape into a world of adventure, grow their reading skills, and fall in love with books.
For many of them, stories are how they “travel,” and this book will help them soar to new places, build vocabulary, boost comprehension, and see themselves as readers and explorers. With a dragon by their side, anything is possible!
