"I teach a wonderful third grade class in Florida. My class is comprised of an evenly diverse population. A large portion of my class includes students that need additional academic support and materials. Our school and our students are wonderful, but we are a public school facing the series of budget crunches (like many schools) and depend on supporters to help our children.
This project is designed to get my students to read the tales from the Magic Tree House. Our school has a student population of almost 900 students, and the school library has only a limited number of these books to offer our students. I would like to help my students have access to these books in my classroom. With your support, my students will have these books at their disposal right in the classroom.
This project is designed to get my students to read books that they enjoy and will encourage them to continue to read. These are all Magic Tree House books and include:
(1) #43 Leprechauns in Late Winter;
(2) #42 Good Night for Ghosts;
(3) #41 Moonlight on the Magic Flute;
(4) #40 Eve of the Emperor Penguin;
(5) #39 Dark Day in the Deep Sea;
(6) #38 Monday with a Mad Genius;
(7) #37 Dragon of the Red Dawn;
(8) #36 Blizzard of the Blue Moon;
(9) #35 Night Over New Magicians;
(10) #34 Season of the Sandstorm;
(11) #33 Carnival at Candlelight;
(12) #32 Winter of the Ice Wizard;
(13) #31 Summer of the Sea Serpent;
(14) # 30 Haunted Castle on Hallow's Eve; and
(15) # 29 Christmas in Camelot.
