My Project

My students are in a unique Mandarin dual language program. They spend half of their instructional time in my classroom and learning all subjects in Mandarin.

They love learning holidays from different cultures.

Since the Lunar New Year is one of our important holidays during the school year, I would like to request different books about the tale of the Chinese Zodiac for my students. We will first read books then students will create holiday theme art projects and take them home. It will be an entertaining family engagement for parents to see and carry on conversations about what their child learned in school, discuss ideas, and produce meaningful language at home.
