"We are the bumblebees!" We love to learn and are excited to bring our learning to the next level with technology!
Our school is an inner-city school and all of our computers were removed this past year. We are implementing new math and reading programs and I would love to be able to use the technology component with my students. They are required to take end of year assessments on computers and having access to Chromebooks throughout the year will help them score better in the end.
I have 26 students that are incredibly hard-working and eager to learn with the right tools!
My Project
With four Acer Chromebooks, I will be able to have students work on different computer skills and websites in centers for reading and math. Many of our reading and math skills can be reinforced through the use of various websites. With the Insignia projector and screen, I will be able to show my students whole group different areas of our content areas.
Access to technology today is so vital to the future of education.
Starting students in kindergarten, this will benefit them for years to come.
The students thoroughly enjoy learning through technology. When they enjoy what they are learning, they will accomplish more!
