My Project
My group of fifth graders is an energetic bunch of thinkers! They are competitive spirits with endless energy for building and problem-solving. This year, they have to take many district and state tests, and I am looking for ways to help them both to prepare and to decompress from it all.
Please help fill up our STEM shelf with supplies that will help keep our bodies and minds on the move.
We are interested in games that help us with logic, mechanics, and movement--especially since we are taking the fifth grade physical assessment this year. These tools will be integrated into our science, engineering, and health curriculum, but might even be used to help us tell stories, learn about climate change, and more. During our "soft start" each morning, kids will be given time to explore these materials to kickstart our days with their endless energy for learning.
