My Project
It’s time to take flight with Hummingbird Robots. Students at CCMES are excited to tackle an end of unit project that combines ELA, Science, and Computer Science. Yet it is always problematic if there are not enough robots. Adding these two robots to our school’s inventory will help create smaller groups and hands-on time in the classroom.
Help us enhance our STEM curriculum by funding two Hummingbird Robots!
The lights in the robot kits will be used to create constellation models that mimic the night sky. Students will also create a model of the Earth and with the kit’s motor, program it to rotate. Students will also create narratives based on multi cultural constellation myths.
Our students are excited for this project, but having more kits and smaller groups helps ensure that all students can work on creating, coding, and programming.
