Manipulatives such as Legos and magnetic tiles will be used for small group activities. These materials encourage learning alphabet, colors, numbers, and 2D and 3D shapes. Kids will be able to work on text features by building models, word and sentence building, and working on patterns. The flexible seating creates a more comfortable classroom that allows for social distancing. Stadium seats are a good way to find comfort anywhere in the room. The books will round out collections that are not complete and fill gaps from books that went missing due to Covid.
