My Project
In my PE classroom, movement isn’t just encouraged—it’s expected! Whether we’re running fitness assessments, leading dynamic group warmups, or organizing our next sports tournament, staying on the move is part of our daily routine. That’s why I’m asking for a mobile standing desk—a flexible, rolling command center that lets me teach, plan, and assess without missing a beat.
Picture this: I’m collecting mile run data while monitoring student pacing, tracking participation during a pickleball unit, or broadcasting our FitnessGram results—all from a mobile desk that rolls with me across the gym or field.
Right now, I’m balancing a clipboard, stopwatch, and laptop on the nearest bleacher or ball cart. It’s not exactly ideal for staying organized or effective.
This mobile standing desk would not only provide a functional workstation, but also promote the same physical values I encourage in my students: stand tall, move often, and stay engaged. It’s the perfect tool for a 21st-century PE teacher managing both physical activity and digital learning tools.
Help me take a stand—literally and figuratively—for better organization, mobility, and active instruction in PE!
