Taking A Bite Out Of Reading

Help me give my students a good book and snacks to enjoy while reading. Many of our students enjoy an extra treat to carry them through the long day.

My Project

Our students love having books of their own in their hands. They also love enjoying a snack while they read. We eat lunch rather early but read at the end of the day. Having a special treat curled up with a great book helps foster a love of reading. We are seeking support in getting a class set of Dinosaurs Before Dark for a reading study as our students expand their learning after a module all about fossils and dinosaurs. The module grabbed their attention, and we are grabbing onto their excitement! Thank you for bringing in the fun and care of enjoying a snack while reading. Many students also love the chance to take a snack home along with their books.
