My Project

The UAS or unmanned aircraft system is a rapidly growing industry that will present many opportunities for students leaving high school and looking for a great career in this industry. My goal as a career and technical educator is to teach my students skills that will ensure success in a career. These skills are introductory but, nevertheless are essential to obtaining a good career.

With the donation of this drone, I can supplement the brand-new curriculum by giving my students the hands-on learning that is so essential to mastering these skills.

They will also have the opportunity to earn an industry-recognized credential through this curriculum from the FAA.

My students in this class are mostly seniors and will be looking for careers or pathways outside of high school and with this learning opportunity I can give them at least one more avenue toward a rewarding and lucrative career.
