Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students have a love of books and ask me so often to take books home so they can read them. Many of my beloved books have disappeared over the years and we are in need of new and engaging books at my student's reading levels.
My students come from a variety of backgrounds and ethnicities.
Our small rural community is host to students from all over the world. I have many children who speak a different language at home. They come from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds as well.
My Project
By having these books it will allow many of my students, especially my struggling readers, to take home books at their level to read and reread. These highly engaging and fun titles will help my students progress with their reading skills, but also instill a love of reading.
By donating to our project you will be helping us to add much needed books to our class take-home library.
Students will have the option to check out a variety of books and become more responsible as well. Please help my students become the amazing readers that I know they can be!
