it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class provides students with a space to breathe, stretch, and move their bodies to relieve stress and anxiety. We take all our worries to the mat and learn how to reclaim calm.
Having a mat for every student gives them a space of their own to stretch, exercise or relax.
Special education students often have a heightened need for personal space due to various factors, including sensory sensitivities, social-emotional challenges, and the potential for anxiety or discomfort in crowded environments. Understanding and respecting this need is crucial for their well-being and academic success.
