Take Home Book Bag Connections

Help me give my students book buddy bags, folders, and sheet protectors for take home book bag sets.

My Project

Take Home Book Bags is a project I created in 2016. The purpose of the program is to have students take home high quality literature to read with their parents and complete an activity in folders that goes along with the theme of the bag. Over the years the bags I have created have either become lovingly used or misplaced due to COVID and students not returning abruptly to school. I would love to recreate these bags and update the folders inside with the new instructions on page protected sheets.

Students love reading with their parents at home!

By reading with their parents they are able to use the reading strategies we are using in school. I have also made sure to include diverse literature into each bag so that children see themselves and others in all of the themed bags. They love coming to check out a new bag on Fridays. They will be so excited to see me be able to create new bags with new themes that they choose.
