My Project

In order to address my students’ academic needs, I need them to focus. In the age of decreasing attention spans and obsessions with social media, teachers and students are losing class time to constant correction and redirection of students' phone use. However, the majority of my students would prefer to be on their phones than engaged in the lesson of the day. When students are asked to put phones away "I need to charge it" is always their first response.

By having a classroom charging station, I can ease the anxiety of my students, allowing them to focus on vocabulary and key concepts covered in our Biology I classroom.
