Help me give my students flexible seating options to keep them engaged in their learning. This includes a stationary bike, portable lap desks, Post-it easel pads, and other items.
My students come to school with a natural curiosity, creativity, and an eagerness to learn. Our classroom is a learning environment where students are ready to explore new concepts.
The sixth graders in my class thrive when given the opportunity to share ideas, be creative, and participate in hands-on learning experiences.
They are a diverse group with a variety of different learning styles. Finding new ways to engage them and deepen understandings can be a challenge. Therefore, I feel confident that these materials will help me meet all of their needs while creating a fun, yet challenging learning environment.
My Project
Giving my students more choice in their day will help keep them motivated to learn. Having seating options allows them to become more focused and engaged. Students will use the flexible seating during small groups, independent work time, and during direct instruction.

The products that I have requested will help give my students additional seating options. When my students feel like they need to move, or change location, these seats will allow them to do so without being disruptive to others. I have requested a stationary bike, lap desks for if they want to sit on the floor, chair bands for kids who need to get their wiggles out, and yoga balls.
