My Students

In 2nd grade students are still active and eager to learn. Anything new and exciting in the classroom will definitely help motivate them!

I work at a Title I school where most students don't have a traditional home life.

Oftentimes students come to school and that is their "safe place." This is why making my classroom engaging and a special place to learn is so important to me. If they can't get special things at home-- why not let them experience that at school?

My students and I would appreciate any help you could offer. It's the little things that makes life (and learning) great!

My Project

We adopted a new math curriculum which plays a huge role in our learning! We go to a separate part of the classroom and talk about math! When I have a classroom carpet, students are not only comfy, but they know where to sit!

When students have their own special spot on the carpet, it helps them feel like they belong.

I have another carpet in the classroom where we sit for focus lessons. Students love to find out which square is theirs and who they get to sit by!

By helping us earn a new classroom rug, you would surely put a big smile on my students' faces. You would also help me out tremendously with management on the the carpet.
