This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me provide students with flexible seating, a calming corner and art supplies.
By providing a structured and organized classroom environment where flexible seating is available for students, a calming corner is available to help students deescalate, and art supplies to provide an outlet to express themselves in a positive way, these resources would greatly benefit my students.
While I have a general education classroom, ¼ of my students have special needs. My students are third graders at a public city school. All my students have open minds and are eager to learn. My students deserve the best and my goal is to provide a classroom environment that is both welcoming and enriching for all of my students.
Using these materials will greatly benefit my students because it will provide a learning environment that meets their needs such as flexible seating, a calming corner and art supplies. My students will greatly benefit from these resources because it will make learning more accessible to them. My students will have an opportunity to have a sense of community in a classroom that is tailored to their needs.
