My Project

In our EC Resource Room, the right seating can significantly enhance students' comfort, focus, and engagement. I’m requesting four stools and a wheelie chair to ensure every student and staff member has a comfortable and supportive seat in our classroom. Many of my students face challenges with attention, sensory needs, and motor skills, and seating that accommodates these needs will help them focus on learning instead of managing discomfort.

The stools will provide my students with dedicated seating for small-group and one-on-one lessons, allowing them to concentrate and participate fully in activities.

Since the stools are lightweight, students can easily adjust their own seating, fostering a sense of independence. The wheelie chair will allow me to efficiently support students by moving seamlessly across the classroom to provide one-on-one assistance without disrupting the flow of instruction.

My goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive EC Resource Room where every student feels supported and excited to learn. With a dedicated seat for each student, they’ll feel a sense of belonging that encourages participation and focus. This project will also give students the stability they need to engage in tasks for longer periods, and it will encourage them to take ownership of their space and learning.

My students are incredibly special; they bring unique strengths, personalities, and resilience to our classroom. Every day, they show curiosity, determination, and joy despite the challenges they face. They inspire me with their commitment to learning and growth, and I’m dedicated to providing a classroom environment that meets their needs. This project will help us achieve a supportive and complete learning space, one that honors and nurtures each student's individuality and potential.
