Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students will use the carpet and floor cushions to bring part of my large class closer to the board for whole group instruction. I will have approximately 30 students per rotation for math and writing. Having an inviting appeal for the carpet area will allow the students to enjoy the feeling of a warm and cozy learning space. However, the groups sitting at the tables will have squishy cushions to wiggle on while working cooperatively with peers.
The carpet sweeper will also students to have ownership to keep the new space clean and comfortable!
