My students need a larger floor seating area as part of our flexible seating arrangement in the classroom. This rug will allow my students to continue to engage collaborative and work on individual learning projects throughout the year.

My Students

My students are full of energy, excitement and enter the classroom each day ready to learn!

My students various preferred learning styles are what makes being their teacher so exciting.

I love watching them share their diverse learning styles with their peers as they explore and collaborate together. We engage in many different types of instruction including group work, flexible seating and various mediums daily. This ensures that all of my students have their specific learning needs met and also have the opportunity to share their way of learning and thinking with others and vice versa!

I am truly blessed to share my classroom with such wonderful students who love learning as much as I do!

My Project

At this time our classroom has no large rug for students to assemble as part of our flexible seating arrangement. Our floor is cold and bare making it an undesirable option for those who may find sitting on the floor more comfortable at times than sitting at a table or desk.

This rug would provide various opportunities for my students to assemble as a large group, in small groups, or even spread out individually for board time, class meetings, group work time or individual work time.

This rug will also provide a larger additional work space for students to collaborate on larger projects either individually or with their peers.
