Help me give my students proper tools to use in our forensic photography class because a great camera and studio setup will help my student learn more about photography and how photos are used to help solve crime.

My Project
I love my sensational forensic science students. They are our future doctors, lawyers, teachers, and scholars of tomorrow. My students love our forensic science class and today’s science class require our students to have hands on equipment to learn the course they love. My students are in their final stages of high school and classes like this can really shape some of their college choices, graduations outcome, degree selection. My students are smart, creative, and goal driven.
“A picture is worth a thousand words, and it is especially true in crime scene photography.” Photography is the basis of all crime scenes and is carried out on priority.
My students will learn all about the importance of photography how to take crime scene photos and learn how to analyze photos from a crime scene. Photographs and crime sketches are the most effective and simplest way to represent a crime scene by the Investigating Officer. They are most useful in supplying significant bits and pieces with the exact measurements of the site and evidence where the crime has occurred. This project will give my students hands-on skills that could possibly help them decide on colleges to attend, fields of study and learn about different type of job opportunities involving photography.
The purpose of crime scene photography is to provide a true and accurate record of the crime scene and physical evidence present by recording the original scene and related areas.
No matter how well an investigator can verbally describe a crime scene; photographs can tell the same story better and more easily as it freezes time and records the evidence. Forensic photography is an integral part of the trial. And the judgment often is based upon crime scene photographs to prove prima facie evidence.
