Making schoolwork more fun and more interactive adds extra incentive for students – tablets can help to increase focus and motivation. The virtual environment created by a tablet is stimulating for students who may feel unmotivated by a traditional classroom setting. This helps to increase the forms of learning available to the students. This school year I plan to open the door for more technology approach lessons in my science classroom by doing more hands on simulations that focus on learning new generational science. A classroom with areas dedicated to both tablet and more traditional forms of learning can help students build a wider range of skills – helping improve their understanding of subjects and academic principles.
