My Project

These book sets will help me work with specific reading levels of students. The students first read independently and answer questions and then come together to discuss the portions of the book that they have read. The students get so excited to meet with their peers and deliberate and collaborate on their answers to the questions. This process really gets the students engaged in critically thinking about what they are reading. Furthermore, it allows them to make personal connections, literary connections, learn new vocabulary words, and get exposed to wonderful books that they might have not picked on their own.

Mrs. Smith will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by September 4.
