My Students

Help my student get items for a safe space in the classroom to take breaks when they need to.

I am amazed at how excited my students are to learn when all members of the team are focused.

You could be a part of that excitement! With your generous donation, my students will enjoy items to help them take a break when needed in the classroom so their other classmates can focus. I teach reading to 23 bright and wonderful students in an area of Chicago. Some of my students receive free or reduced lunch and are so eager to learn every day.

My Project

Every student learns differently. Some students need to take breaks while others can focus on their learning. With your generous donation, you can help the students in my classroom stay focused and succeed in their learning. The rugs will help create a space for students to take a break, while the other items will help calm students so others can learn in the classroom.

Every classroom should have a space to help students refocus and calm themselves.

I am amazed at how simple items can help students self-regulate and redirect their learning in a more positive manner. With your generous donation, you will not only be helping my new students this year but also for the years to come.
