My Project

The items in this project will give my students the opportunity to take a book home daily to read with their families. The zip lock bags will keep the books organized and clean within my student's back packs. The labels will be applied to each zip lock bag with the student's name on each with the use of the markers in this project. Finally, the paper will be used to print out a letter explaining the "Take a Book Home" program to the families.

Reading aloud to children increases their vocabulary, improves their comprehension skills, and helps children make connections between stories and experiences they have had.

My students will benefit greatly if this project is funded and the items in this project are available for them to use with the "Take a Book Home" program.
