My Project
My classroom is intentionally structured to meet the sensory, social, emotional, and academic needs of each of my students, fostering a sense of security, independence, and engagement.
Incorporating at least four Flash Furniture Stand-Alone Study Carrels into the classroom for my students with autism can offer several positive benefits, especially when it comes to their learning, focus, and overall well-being.
Having a designated area will help minimize distractions, increasing their ability to concentrate.
Individual work spaces will help support students by giving them a distraction-free environment allowing them to concentrate better on tasks and assignments. These Stand-Alone Study Carrels can be customized to support different types of learning. Individual schedules, token boards, and other icons for communication can be placed in their area—ensuring they can engage in the best way for their individual needs.
Including the Stand-Alone Study Carrels into my classroom is part of a broader strategy to support the diverse needs of my students. I want to create an inclusive and effective learning environment, encouraging independence in a structured way.
