Tactile Treasures: Exploring Play With Sensory Stones

My Project

In our Kindergarten classroom, we are currently working on planning and setting up our outdoor classroom space for our grade level to use! Students and I have recently been exploring outdoor math activities and are excited to further our outdoor learning experience. My students and I are eager to create this space and to provide a wide variety of tools and materials for further exploration!

This project will provide our outdoor learning space with a variety of Yellow Door sensory stones.

These tactile sensory stones will allow students to explore their creative play side as they use them during outdoor play, to model math equations, as well as to create stories and theatrical plays with peers!
