This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Welcome to our Donor Choose Project. On behalf of myself, my paras, and our students we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for choosing to donate these items for our Significant Supports Needs classroom. We are a center-based program in Aurora, Colorado. Each and every one of our students is unique in their own way.

My Project

I will be using these materials to help students gain independence through learning. This will allow students to move away from hand over hand instruction to more independence. Students will be able to engage in hands on tactile instruction while learning letters, numbers and shapes. My students will be able to understand routines and structures to support their daily independence in learning. It will also allow me and my paras to tract their progress with each activity in o see their growth in the areas of math, literacy and social emotional learning.
