My Project

The "Tactile Expressions: Enhancing Counseling Through Play-Doh and Bead-Making" project aims to integrate hands-on manipulatives into counseling sessions for students. By providing Play-Doh and bead-making materials, we foster a safe, engaging environment that encourages open communication. These tactile resources make a significant difference in learning by allowing students to express their thoughts and feelings creatively, which can enhance emotional literacy and self-awareness. Our goals for this project include reducing anxiety, promoting deeper connections during discussions, and ultimately creating a more effective and supportive counseling experience as students navigate their emotions and personal challenges.
