Taco, The Bearded Dragon

My Project

I am asking for support to get a class pet for the resource room. I am requesting a large reptile terrarium, heat lamp, digital thermometer, reptile heating pad, and more for the opportunity to grow and learn through the love of an animal. The resource room services kids who need extra support with academics and social emotional skills. Taco, the bearded dragon, would increase vocabulary, conversational skills, and self-esteem within the students. Taco would also benefit students in math, language, social studies, and science, as well as social/emotional skills and life skills. Having Taco in the resource room would give students a chance to have a real-life example for emotions, voice volume control, and responsibility. Supporting the resource room means supporting the growth of students across all academic and social areas.
