My Students

We are striving to create a positive environment that not only allows students to be a part of a team, but also teaches them how to be an integral part of something. Being in a low economic and rural area, there aren't as many opportunities for these students to be a part of something outside of school.

Leadership is something that is taught throughout the togetherness of a team.

Our students need each other to learn and grow. By being a part of this football program, they learn from each other and continue to grow into men that are proud of their accomplishments.

My Project

We are hoping to purchase a tackle wheel for our football team. This essential practice item not only gives the students a fun alternative to basic tackling drills, but more importantly, gives them a safe way to practice tackling. By utilizing a tackle wheel, athletes are able to learn the safest way to complete a tackle.

Safety is key.

Learning the proper ways to tackle protects our athletes, not just for the season, but for their future. This skill also helps protects athletes on the opposing teams. Ensuring that athletes know the safest way possible to complete a tackle, ensures that they are going to protect themselves and their opponent. This allows both to have the opportunity to further their sports careers.
