Help me give my students their own individual binders and the plastic 8 tab dividers. Both these items are a great starter kit for organizing our materials.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For years, our students have thrived using an organizational binder system through AVID. When getting organized at the beginning of the school year the 2” binders help students get their subjects in order and first-week papers right where they need to be. In previous years, we have used these binders and binder tabs as organizational tools. Students put all their school notes, graded papers, current assignments, school agendas, and spiral notebooks. They can even tuck their journals in their binders. The students are responsible for taking them home, using them for studying, and returning them daily. The students benefit from having all their important materials in one place. We are departmental so desks are typically left empty for the next group of students to be able to use the designated area.
Organization is a lifelong skill needed to be successful!
When students are given what they need from the start, they are destined for greatness. The year runs more smoothly and each teacher can use the same jargon and color-coding system to keep the confusion down to a minimum. Everything in one place helps students thrive.
