My Students

My students come from a challenging background. They are from the inner city and are many times without access to resources. Where they lack resources, they many times make up for in grit and resilience.

They are at a moment in their schooling in which they are on the cusp of selecting a high school.

Many of my students come from households in which family members work very hard. This is where they develop their resilience. They are the best!

My Project

My students will benefit from Fire tablets and an Echo by allowing them to readily access research tools, word processing to publish, see examples of unfamiliar concepts and more! Having these tools in the classroom can greatly enhance their learning experience.

Being able to access online books and audible read alouds, will help my low level readers with high conceptualization make sense of each text.

This alone will build confidence that otherwise, many of my kids may not develop otherwise. This will not only help in those learning moments, but may also help in the development of lifelong learners. This changes their learning experience.
