My Project

Tablets, we all know, are one of the greatest technology pieces we have available. Many of my students have never experienced a tablet. I would like to have three Amazon Fire tablets in my room to not only expose students to this type of technology but also to allow them to showcase their knowledge in a unique way.

Students will use the tablet to create their very own lesson tutorial videos and to help them gain a better understanding of the topics we cover.

This will allow students to not only demonstrate mastery of topics but will provide them with a toolbox of videos that they can carry with them to assist in the next grade and beyond. Students will also be able to use the tablet to efficiently practice basic math skills, such as addition and subtraction, through the many available apps. They can also work on STEM activities on them. Many books and phonics apps will also help my students get the most out of each minute in my classroom.
