Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My school has a dynamic learning environment where we empower all students to become independent thinkers.

My Pre-K class is creative, curious, and talented individuals.

They love to share and are hungry for knowledge! I work with amazing students that come from a variety of backgrounds. They love coming to school every day and learning, and I want to ensure they have all the necessary materials to be successful not only at school but at home, as well.

My students need three tablets to enhance their learning in math and create STEM projects.

My Project

My students need three tablets because there are not enough computers in the classroom for them to use. With these computers, my students will participate in teams to build their own projects, all while learning about technology implementation in the classroom.

Giving low-income students access to new technology is an investment in their future and allowing them to create STEAM projects will prepare them for their future careers.

I want to incorporate more tech into our classroom, and these tablets would make it easier for us to be able to access technology for learning and applying math. They will also be able to use them for school required programs that they have to do every day.
