Tablets for Teens: Multi-Classroom Engagement

Help me give my students tablets for reading, listening, and active engagement. These will be used in literacy, math, science, and social studies classes.

My Project

I love that my students are exceptional thinkers and doers. They strive to compete and be the best at what they know. I'm always looking for new and innovative ways to challenge their thinking and flatten the connections across the globe. In order to do this, we communicate with other schools, various resources, and use technology daily to enhance the world around them.

By using Amazon Fire tablets in class, we can explore deeper with videos and photos to our PenPals in Hawaii, use QR codes to create math problems for each other in the hallways, interview staff for our classroom paper, and enhance the middle school experience with more knowledge and more experiences.

Tablets help create a better learning experience that can be shared between math, science, social studies, and literacy classes. Our goal is to use these tablets cohesively and give students a powerful skill to take with them to high school and beyond.
