My students need tablets and protective cases to access individualized and universal instruction. The tablets will allow them to access math, ELA, science, social studies and most importantly communication and social skills!
Our classroom is made up of nine hardworking, bright, effervescent and remarkable students. The classroom is a substantially separate room in a Title I school, in which each student has an Autism diagnosis.
Each student brings something special to the classroom!
They all have a range of different abilities. Our main goal in our room is to promote independence in many areas including, self-care skills, self-regulation, social skills, academics, gross motor skill, fine motor and much more throughout the year!
My Project
Each of my students has different levels of abilities. We are requesting nine Fire 7 tablets that will allow my students to access apps that meet their needs. By having these nine tablets, all the students will have access to the curriculum. Students will use the tablets to access Math, ELA, Science, Social Students, communication and social skills. Having the tablets will give each and every one of my students a voice and skills to allow communication with peers and staff. It will also allow them to learn at their own individual level.
