My students need Acer One Tablets to be able to keep up with the growing technology world. Many great educational components are provided using apps and the internet.

My Students

I currently teach three 4th grade math classes. 25 students are EIP and 5 SPED students. Class sizes are 26, 27, and 30. This is an economically challenged area and my school has 100% free lunch.

None of my special education students or EIP students are pulled out.

We do co-teach with a special ed teacher and the EIP teacher pushes in as well.

As for my EIP students, I see a variety of levels from below grade level, or approaching grade level. I have an EIP teacher that comes in for a portion of math. Many of these students have huge gaps in skills needed to succeed in the rigorous 4th grade classroom. Many came to me on 1st -2nd grade levels and beginning level readers.

My Project

My students are from a low poverty county. I would like to have a tablet for each student. That way I can use Google Classroom for instruction. There are many apps and internet sites that will greatly enhance the learning environment. Providing each student with a tablet will allow them to have a world of learning resources at their figures tips that they can not have otherwise.

Netbooks will provide more opportunities for success!

Students can be engaged with google classroom, prodigy, Xtramath, Moby Max, and other online resources. This will provide more opportunities for personalized learning for the individuals pace.
