My Students
Our building is a K-12 charter school. Each of these students come from very diverse backgrounds, many of which receive free breakfast and lunch. My students face many challenges both in and out of the classroom. My goal is to try to lessen the challenges they have in the classroom. They are amazing kids and I love each and every one of them so much! I want to do my very best for my students, but sometimes I need some help!
My Project
My students are struggling in and out of the classroom. They come from very diverse backgrounds. I have many students who struggle with reading. I do not have any computers for student use in my classroom because I don't have enough electrical outlets. Since the tablets don't need to be plugged in at all times, my students can utilize them every day.
With the Amazon Fire Tablets, I can ensure my struggling readers get the extra help they need.
My students will be able to use the tablets during centers to help improve their math and reading skills. These tablets will allow my students to learn things specific to their interest and level as well as allow them to have many more learning opportunities!
