Tablets for Learning at Home and for Attendance Raffles!
My students need items to incentivize them to come to school. We hope to use these items for raffles to improve attendance. Students can also use this for homework and learning at home.

My Students
We work to help support students who have struggled in the past who are motivated to get a diploma and go to college to find a successful career.
MHA is a transfer, TITLE I, high school that serves low-income, under-served, students from all boroughs of New York City- Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens.
Our students have so many talents and skills, but also have many challenges to overcome from home and at school. Many go on to college, including NYU, and are successful in many careers!
My Project
We will use these tablets to motivate students to come to school for attendance raffles. Our students are previously disengaged and we are working to maintain a positive school environment by giving students incentives for coming to school.
These tablets will make a difference in our school because it will allow us to create positive incentives for coming to school, instead of negative consequences that further disengage our student population that already has many challenges to overcome.
We hope this will motivate our students to want to be in school and excite them about learning by having the technology to learn at home!
