Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The purpose of this project is to equip our English Language Learners with Amazon Fire tablets to support language acquisition. Our multilingual learners can use different apps and online learning platforms to develop their language skills, research information related to the curriculum, and communicate in a variety of ways.

By providing tablets to our ELL students, we can offer tools and resources that support language acquisition and content knowledge!

It can be daunting to learn a new language in a new country, but with the use of this technology, we hope to provide students an opportunity to access the curriculum, as well as communicate with friends at school and build a sense of confidence and belonging.
