Tablets for Dot and Dash STEM Activities

My Students

I currently work at a Title I school in San Diego, California. These kids are great. They come from very diverse backgrounds and speak several different languages at home.

We are very close to a military base and have several families that are in the military.

We also have many struggling families who have difficulty supporting their children with school supplies needed for day-to-day activities.

We are a great group of everything working together! Any support would be very well appreciated.

My Project

We are on our way to getting our Dot and Dash robots. Now, we need the tablets to run the programs on.

These tablets will allow students to program using robotics and technology to power Dot and Dash.

There are so many cool things that they can code into the robot and they will see the results instantly using these tablets.

After we start learning code, students will move on to implementing the code with these robots that are from the previous project. The two go hand in hand allowing STEM science learning inside of our classroom. This is very exciting.
