My Project

Tablets and Tapping is a project that will help struggling students learn to read. We will be combining ipads with a digital tile program that will teach kids phonemic awareness and phonological awareness which includes identifying the alphabetic sounds and letters, blends, syllabication, spelling rules, dictation, etc.

Digital tiles will make a huge difference as students learn to read in a hands on, visual and auditory method.

Digital tiles will make it easy to mobilize between indoor and outdoor classroom learning, as well as, save time when manipulating tiles and clearing them for the next activity. We are excited to implement the project tools in our classroom.
